Foodhui 2020 was held in Wellington in October to discuss the need for a national food strategy. Eat New Zealand chief executive Angela Clifford tells RNZ why this is necessary Listen to the RNZ interview or see more about a proposed national food strategy.
Angela Clifford said the pandemic was causing people to think again about what they ate, and that was coming through at the hui.
“If we understand our food and where it comes from and what it is for our growers and catchers and producers, then we’re going to have a much better outcome for everyone.”
