Auckland City Mission research has found that aspirations of people experiencing food insecurity align with the wider population’s sociocultural ideas for wellness. The most common goal or dream is a longing for stable and fulfilling employment.

Many people experiencing food insecurity simply aspire to have sufficient money so that they can meet their needs.
