The 2021 State of the Nation Report states: ‘The disruption of the Covid19 pandemic is huge and has negatively affected all of the areas we monitor. The scale of the disruption to our social and economic systems has tended to outweigh the positive progress that has been made when assessing overall progress. The impacts are also very unequally shared and creating pressures that are likely to increase inequalities of income and wealth.’
