Shayne (Te Arawa, Tainui, Irish) has worked in various public health roles for over 20 years. He has worked in Tairawhiti, Auckland, and Wellington, in local and national roles for DHB’s and the Ministry of Health. Shayne has also been on the board of several organisations, and currently is a on a school BoT. Over the last eight years he held several senior roles in the Hutt Valley DHB planning and funding team, before joining the Cancer Society of New Zealand in 2015. His current role is manager advocacy and wellbeing.
