A large and consistent body of research shows that adults with obesity are at increased risk of 12 types of cancer.
This new study showed losing weight through diet and exercise may reverse that risk. It is important to note this study had several limitations including a small sample size, therefore wasn’t of statistical significance and included only adults with Type 2 diabetes.
