My Heart Check – the consumer facing tool

Tuesday, 15 December, 12 – 12.45pm.  ONLINE

My Heart Check tool is the first publicly available heart health risk calculator that is tailored to the New Zealand population, including specific risk for Māori, Pasifika and south Asian people who are at increased risk than Pakeha. It provides you with tailored information about the positive things you can do (e.g. see your GP, heart-healthy eating advice, physical activity etc.) to manage and reduce your risk of heart disease. In this webinar Angela and Ben will give a background to the tool, how the tool has been developed and how it has been designed to use in the community.
