Healthy Start Workforce Project – Alcohol and tobacco exposure during early life: impacts on fetus and child (e-learning)

This course is free to New Zealand health practitioners and takes around 30 minutes to complete.

The module explores why and how exposure to alcohol and/or tobacco during pregnancy and early childhood (first 1000 days), affects immediate and lifelong health outcomes for the child.

This module will help you talk confidently with women about alcohol and tobacco and deliver consistent, clear messages about alcohol and tobacco use in pregnancy.
