This qualification is for people who deliver pre-designed sport and community recreation programmes, events and activities under guidance.
Sport and community recreation brings New Zealanders together, and helps to promote an active and healthy population. Strong leadership, planning and teamwork contribute to the success of a community recreation event.
This qualification will be delivered in a workplace within the sport and recreation industry, and assessments will be completed online.
Graduates of this qualification will be armed with the skills and knowledge required to work in programme delivery and coordination roles in the sport and recreation industry.
