A document was developed incorporating the key themes, ideas, and solutions that arose out of the workshop. The ideas, experiences and opinions that were shared came from a wide group of public health professionals with a wealth of experience in working with Asian families. The themes that arose, the problems, frustrations and ideas for solutions are all valid and worthy of consideration and further exploration. This document will inform any work or advocacy to improve nutrition outcomes for Asian mothers and babies: Discussion on issues affecting the nutrition of Asian mothers and infants in New Zealand: a summary of workshop discussions from the 2013 Agencies for Nutrition Action Asian Forum.
