This observational study looked at the change in drink purchases in 16 Australian recreation centres following a sugar-sweetened beverage reduction initiative. The conclusion suggests this type of health promotion is feasible in other areas, however, complementary strategies should be considered as well to encourage customers to switch to a healthier alternative.
